13 May 2026, Chișinău – The latest progress on the European agenda, the implementation rate of the reforms undertaken, the European Commission’s recommendations, and the actions outlined in the National Accession Plan were reviewed during a meeting of the National Commission for European Integration (CNIE), chaired by the President Maia Sandu.

CNIE members discussed the effective coordination among institutions and the steps that need to be taken next to advance the EU accession negotiation process, particularly in the area of the rule of law.

‘We share the same ambitious goal: to deliver results, modernise the country, and improve people’s daily lives,’ said Cristina Gherasimov.
