Moldova and Belarus might give up the roaming tariffs, according to an agreement reached by Prime Minister Pavel Filip and President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko today. The subject is to be discussed on the platform of the joint inter-governmental commission for commercial and economic cooperation.

Pavel Filip and Aleksandr Lukashenko referred to the relations between the two countries, highlighting particularly the launch of the direct air route Chisinau-Minsk, which will boost the trade exchanges and tourism. The officials believe that this route will be profitable. Also, the sides considered possibility to open an enterprise for assembling electric buses and to extend the project on assembling trolley buses.    

Moldovan wine producers might export more to the Belarusian market. Pavel Filip and Aleksandr Lukashenko also discussed the increase in the shares of export for bottled Moldovan wines. Also, a Trade House of Moldova, which is to promote Moldovan wines, might be inaugurated in Minsk.    

Belarusian entrepreneurs showed interest in participating in the repair of roads in Moldova and the Development Bank of Belarus might credit the carrying out of these infrastructure projects.
