Prime Minister Ion Chicu introduced new ministers to staff of institutions

Yesterday, Prime Minister Ion Chicu introduced new ministers to the staff of the institutions they lead.

The Reintegration Office will be headed by Deputy Prime Minister Olga Cebotari, who has so far served as the government's representative in CIS Committee.

"You have a complicated agenda ahead of you. There are many destabilizing factors, and the election exercise and the pandemic make it more difficult," he said.

Lilia Pogolșa was introduced to the team of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research. The premier welcomed the courage of the Minister to come to the helm of the MECC during this period, saying that despite the difficult year we are going through, the ministry has managed to come up with several changes and cope with all situations caused by the pandemic.

Anatol Usatii returned to the helm of the Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure. The prime minister urged him to continue the projects he started, assuring him of the full support of the government team.

Subsequently, the premier introduced Minister Aurel Ciocoi, who took over the leadership of MAEIE. The prime minister said that the minister's tasks are well known to him because he has led this previously ministry.

"I am sure you will make every effort to promote Moldova's foreign policy as the people of the country want. The main task is the proper organization of voting abroad. I know very well what difficulties were encountered in the first round of elections. The goal is for every citizen who wants to exercise their right to vote to have this opportunity, " he said.

At the Ministry of Defense, the premier introduced General Victor Gaiciuc to the team, who returned to the ministry. "We come with all confidence that the National Army under the leadership of Victor Gaiciuc will continue to be a pillar of morality and love for the Motherland," he said.

He thanked the former ministers for all their efforts in this difficult period for Moldova and wished them success.
