More than 1,000 people buy dwellings within First Home governmental programme in Moldova

As many as 1,004 persons have bought dwellings within the First Home governmental programme so far. Prime Minister Pavel Filip made statements to this effect in the beginning of a cabinet meeting today.   

 

The Prime Minister thanked the institutions involved in this programme for prodigious activity, noting that financial sources for backing another 3,000 beneficiaries were planned for the next year. ”These are nice results and if each governance managed to help at least 1,000 families annually, then thousands of Moldovans would have remained to work at home,” Filip said.

 

The contract with the No 1,000 was signed by a young family, which bought a flat in the Botanica district of the Chisinau municipality.

 

Data by the Organization for Small and Middle Enterprises Sector Development (ODIMM) shows that 1,078 applications are currently recorded, of which 1,004 are active guarantees. The sum of active guarantees is of de 237, 729, 797.4 lei and the overall sum of loans provided by banks is of 475,459, 594.9 lei.

 

A number of 727 out of 1,004 beneficiaries are young families and 277 are young unmarried persons.
