Prime Minister Ion Chicu inspected the building of the Serghei Lunchevici National Philharmonic in Chisinau after the devastating fire.

He asked the specialists to carry out the static and dynamic investigation of the place of the fire in order to establish the circumstances and the cause of the fire.

The official also reiterated the importance of strengthening joint efforts to restore the cultural institution so that the necessary resources can be identified in the near future. An account will also be opened in the state treasury so that everyone can contribute financially.

Today, a working meeting will be held at the government to assess material damages and the renovation strategy of the building.

The premier assured that the government will take all necessary measures in support of cultural heritage.
