The Eternity monument will be created in the Popeasca village, south-eastern Stefan Voda district. A decision to this effect was approved at a cabinet meeting.

The monument, built in order to perpetuate the memory of those 103 participants (born in the Popeasca village) in battles for Moldova’s independence and territorial integrity, will be set according to a project approved by the Culture Ministry.

The expenses for the working out of the project documentation on the monument’s construction, for its carrying out and setting, as well as for arranging the adjacent ground will be covered from donations, sponsorships and other legal sources.
