The cabinet of ministers today approved a decision, which sees the amendment of the regulation on the way of giving the status of war veteran and of issuing identity cards to the war veterans.

 

The amendments proposed have the goal to back the veterans, facilitate the process of reconfirmation of the status of war veteran and of getting the identity card of the new-type model. The deadline for the changing of the old-type model identity cards with the new ones is 31 December 2022.  

 

The 2022 year is declared by the Year of Gratitude to the war veterans, participants in the combat actions for the defence of Moldova’s territorial integrity and independence.
