A group of civil servants from Chișinău went on a study visit to Paris
4 March 2026, Chișinău – The Republic of Moldova is learning from France's experience in implementing the EU Services Directive. This aims to simplify administrative procedures for service providers, remove unnecessary barriers, and ensure better services for citizens and businesses.
To this end, a group of civil servants from the Bureau for European Integration, the Legislation Harmonization Centre, the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization, and the e-Government Agency went on a study visit to Paris.
Over three days, they visited several state institutions and discussed with representatives of the Directorate-General for Enterprise and the General Secretariat for European Affairs about good practices in implementing European policies, reducing bureaucracy, stimulating competition, and integrating into the European services market.
The visit took place under the Cooperation Agreement between the Bureau for European Integration and the General Secretariat for European Affairs of the French Republic and was organised with the support of TAIEX, funded by the European Union.
