The government will boost the dialogue between the central and local public administration by reviving the commission for decentralization. For more than five years, it has not operated.

 

The need for communication on the Commission's platform emerged following the discussions between government members and representatives of the local public administration.

 

One of the most important roles of the commission will be the examination and debate of the draft public administration reform Strategy on local public administration reform, public policy documents by fields, the creation of joint working groups by fields of importance etc.

 

Also, the new composition of the Commission will ensure the equal representation of members from central and local public administration authorities, nominated by their representative associations through the Congress of Local Authorities of Moldova (CALM).
