Prime Minister Dorin Recean today chaired a meeting of the inter-institutional working group for the problems of the war veterans, held at the government’s headquarters. The participants in the event brought for discussion the problems and claims filed by the veterans, among which the lack of the normative framework and of jobs, as well as the improvement of the social and medical protection system.

 

The participants also referred to the need to cultivate the civic and patriotic education in the society and the working out of a national plan of war veterans in the next three months.   

 

The PM touched upon the importance of establishing the accurate goals and the current priorities, with emphasis on the change of the legal framework and on the establishment of the medical services, which will be provided within the limit of the annual budgetary allocations.
