Eleven veterans to receive support from state to purchase, renovate dwellings in Moldova

Eleven veterans from eight districts of Moldova will receive a state unique indemnity for the construction, restoration or purchase of dwelling. The ruling was approved by the Executive today. Among the beneficiaries, there are a victim of the Chernobyl disaster, three veterans of the Afghan war and seven participants in the Dniester war.

 

For this purpose, it will be allocated MDL 492,000 from the state budget. The money will be transferred to the local public administration authorities. Thus, over MDL 100,000 will be offered to Criuleni district, MDL 82,000 – districts Causeni and Rascani, and MDL 41,000 will be directed to districts Cahul, Falesti, Ocnita, Rezina and Ungheni.

 

The sole indemnity for construction, renovation or purchase of housing is granted annually to persons which suffered from armed conflicts and their families, victims of the Chernobyl disaster and war veterans. In 2018, it was provided MDL 8.5 million for granting of these allowances. Up to present, it has been allocated over MDL 2 million.
