21 May 2026, Brussels – In Brussels, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov had a meeting with Marta Kos, the European Commissioner for Enlargement.

‘We discussed the reforms we have managed to implement at home so far, developments in the accession negotiation process, and the objectives for the upcoming period,’ said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov thanked Commissioner Kos and the European Commission team for helping the Republic of Moldova to confidently advance on its path toward the EU and for providing all necessary support.

‘The Republic of Moldova remains firmly committed to advancing on its European path and delivering concrete results that people can feel in their daily lives,’ mentioned Cristina Gherasimov.
