15 October 2025, Brussels - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov held a dialogue with Michael McGrath, European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice and the Rule of Law, in Brussels.

‘We talked about the progress made by the Republic of Moldova in the field of justice, fight against corruption and in strengthening democratic institutions. We also discussed the recent elections, an exercise that we managed to organise fairly, transparently and to ensure the integrity of the electoral process despite all the challenges and attempts of external interference’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration thanked the European partners for their support and said that the authorities will continue to carry through the reforms, because Moldovan citizens deserve to live in a state where the law is applied fairly and institutions work for the people.
