13 March 2026, Chișinău – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with members of the European Affairs Committees of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate of the Romanian Parliament, who were on a working visit to Chișinău.

’We discussed the European path of the Republic of Moldova and the steps we are taking at home to advance in the EU accession negotiations,’ said Cristina Gherasimov.

Romania is the strongest supporter of the Republic of Moldova’s European path, and its experience in the EU accession process remains an important reference for the efforts being made in Chișinău.
