21 January 2026, Chișinău – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Italian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Giuseppe Maria Perricone to discuss the objectives on our European agenda for this year.

‘We talked about Italian investments and the wonderful projects being carried out in our country, but also about the friendship between our citizens - Moldovans in Italy and Italians living in Moldova, who feel at home both here and there’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov thanked the authorities in Rome for their cooperation and support for our European path.
