5 February 2026, Chișinău – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov had a telephone conversation with Ian Borg, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism of Malta, on the progress of the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova and the priorities for 2026.

‘We also talked about the good practices we can learn from Malta's experience in adopting legislation and implementing reforms in the EU accession process’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov thanked the authorities in Valletta for supporting Moldova's European path.
