23 February 2026, Chișinău – In the EU accession negotiations process, the implementation of anti-corruption measures is an essential component. No negotiation chapter can be closed until sufficient integrity and anti-corruption actions have been demonstrated.

In this context, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov discussed with law enforcement authorities within the Anti-Corruption Platform working group.

’We discussed the current challenges, planned measures, and how we are coordinating our efforts to move forward with the actions set out in the 2025–2029 National Programme for the EU Accession and in the roadmap on the Rule of law’, said Cristina Gherasimov.
