The cabinet of ministers today approved the unification of the minimum salary on Moldova. It will amount to 3,500 lei for a full working schedule of 169 hours and will be enforced both in the public and in the real sectors.    

Through this unification, decision-makers will ensure the equity of the salary payment in the two sectors of activity – a principle provided for both in Moldova’s Constitution and in the international obligations taken by the country.   

It is worth noting that the minimum salary on Moldova was established in a quantum of 1,000 for the first time in 2014.
