Chisinau, 31 Jan. - On 8 April - 7 July, the National Statistics Bureau will conduct the population and housing census in Moldova. The cabinet approved a decision in this regard today.

Data about people and homes will be collected directly, through interviewing, but also indirectly - from administrative or private data.

The information collected at the census will be used for calculating the number of the resident population of Moldova, as well as for establishing the survey base for statistical research in households.
