The Reintegration Policies Bureau welcomes the release from detention of the citizen Adrian Glijin, who was deprived of his liberty on October 7, 2020 by the Tiraspol security forces.
During this period, the Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration and the Reintegration Policies Bureau made sustained efforts for his unconditional release, making use of all available dialogue platforms. Likewise, being in constant contact with the actors in the negotiation format for the Transnistrian settlement, all the necessary steps were taken to restore the fundamental rights and freedoms of the cet. Glijin.
We would also like to thank the OSCE Mission to Moldova, the Promo-LEX Association, the press from the Republic of Moldova, all those who followed this file closely and contributed through their position to the release of A. Glijin.
It is an action that can serve as an example in many other similar cases of violation of human rights in the Transnistrian region, including those of citizens V. Pleșcanov, G. Kuzmiciov, V. Dudnic, V. Pogorlețchi, S. Mantaluța, M. Petiş and many other citizens of the Republic of Moldova, who suffer as a result of Tiraspol's illegal actions.
