The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration met the delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic

19.10.2021, Chisinau – The current priorities of the Government of the Republic of Moldova on Transnistrian settlement were presented during today's meeting of Deputy Prime Minister Vlad Kulminski with the delegation of the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, which is on a fact-finding visit to Moldova.
The Deputy Prime Minister spoke about the key objectives of the Government with regard to the country's reintegration, specifying that Chisinau authorities continue to make constant efforts to fulfill positive obligations towards people on the left bank of the Nistru river, to solve urgent problems they face, to improve their standard of living and to ensure sustainable socio-economic development.
In this context, the support of Chisinau authorities was mentioned as well as the full openness to provide further assistance for reducing the spread of COVID-19 pandemic across the country (organizing the immunization process and allocating various humanitarian aid), including in the localities on the left bank of the Nistru river and in the perimeter of the Security Zone.
Thus, the Deputy Prime Minister informed the Czech diplomats that Moldovan authorities proportionally redistributed vaccines against COVID-19 and high-performance medical equipment and their derivatives to the inhabitants of the Transnistrian region, from all the humanitarian assistance lots offered to the Republic of Moldova, but also from the acquisitions made from budgetary resources.
Diplomats thanked the Deputy Prime Minister for the interactive dialogue and reiterated the support of the Czech Republic for deepening friendly relations between the two states and providing the necessary assistance in various aspects of common interest.
