The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Olga Cebotari, had a meeting today with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Moldova, Zdeněk Krejcí. They discussed the aspects of bilateral cooperation and Chisinau's priorities on reintegration policies.
Olga Cebotari thanked the Government of the Czech Republic for the support provided internationally and for the assistance projects implemented in the Republic of Moldova.
The Deputy Prime Minister informed about the situation on solving current problems that affect the inhabitants from both banks of Nistru and on fulfilling the commitments assumed through the "Berlin+ Package".
It was mentioned that the Government of the Republic of Moldova continues to promote a policy aimed at building trust and bringing both banks closer together, promoting dialogue with Tiraspol within all the existing platforms, creating optimal conditions for sustainable development of localities on the left bank, ensuring respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms in the region, and solving problems of major interest to the population.
The Deputy Prime Minister pointed out that the issue of human rights, ensuring free movement and efficient management of the pandemic on both banks of Nistru through joint efforts are prioritized on the agenda of the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol.
The officials expressed openness to continue bilateral cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
