The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Olga Cebotari, had a courtesy meeting today with the Head of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova, Claus Neukirch. The parties exchanged views about current issues on the negotiation agenda in the Transnistrian settlement process. The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the importance of maintaining a constructive dialogue with the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova and all partners of the "5+2" format.

The officials exchanged views on prospects of holding a possible round of consultations with the "5+2" actors within the Permanent Conference on Political Issues in the Transnistrian settlement process.

The need to coordinate and finalize the draft Declaration of the OSCE Ministerial Council on the "5+2" negotiation process in the Transnistrian settlement, to be approved at the 27^th Council meeting in Tirana, Albania, between December 3-4 this year, was also mentioned.

A positive response from Tiraspol, including facilitation of travels with the mobile ballot boxes in Bender and Dubasari district was also noted. This will ensure free movement of the Transnistrian region inhabitants in order to exercise their electoral rights in the presidential election of November 15, 2020.  

The parties agreed to further maintain the dialogue on topics of common interest.
