48 projects were funded and 47 were implemented through the Program of activities for the reintegration of the country in 2022

According to the provisions of the state budget Law for the year 2022, with subsequent amendments, in the previous year financial resources in the amount of 19,598.0 thousand lei were allocated for 48 activities aimed at contributing to the reintegration of the country. The process of putting them to use took place on a competition basis and in accordance with the procedures established by Government Decision no. 131/2014.
Thus, out of the total budget funds allocated in the amount of 19598.0 thousand lei for 48 projects, their beneficiaries capitalized 18639.2 thousand lei, one project remaining unimplemented, with the unused amount of 958.8 thousand lei being transferred to the state budget account, in accordance with the provisions of Government Decision no. 131/2014.
Resulting from the objectives and actions established in the national policy documents, in 2022 priority attention was given to projects aimed at support measures for healthcare and overcoming of the pandemic crisis, provision of high-quality and efficient public services to residents, promotion of human rights, support for educational institutions and other strategic territorial subdivisions in the Security Zone, the initiatives to restore and develop the cultural-historical heritage, supporting other primary actions that contribute to the promotion of the reintegration of the country desideratum.
We remind that by Government Decision no. 805/2022 "Regarding the amendment of Government Decision no. 131/2014 for the approval of the Regulation on the method of selecting and keeping record of projects within the program of activities for the reintegration of the country", the mechanism for selecting, implementing and reporting on projects receiving funding was amended, with the increase of both their competitiveness and the impact on the sustainable development of the localities in the perimeter of the Security Zone.
In total, during the period 2011–2022, 524 projects worth over 160 million lei were financed.
