Working visit of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration to the Coșnița Plateau

The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Oleg Serebrian together with the representatives of the Reintegration Policies Bureau made a working visit to the Coșnița plateau, during which they held discussions with representatives of the local public administration, the management and staff of educational and medical institutions, local councilors, as well as with economic agents.
During the visit, the necessity to combine the efforts of the central and local public authorities was reaffirmed, in order to optimally manage existing problems and support citizens in overcoming the difficulties encountered.
The discussions with the representatives of the Dubăsari District Council, the mayors of Coșnița and Pârâta took place in the circumstances of a complex agenda. The topics addressed were focused on aspects related to access to agricultural land, the rehabilitation of centralized water supply and sewage systems, the enforcement by Tiraspol of so-called taxes in relation to economic agents.
At the same time, the local public authorities have signaled the urgent need to establish a post of rescuers and firefighters intended to intervene swiftly in emergencies.
Another aspect of importance and major topicality referred to the illegal extraction of natural resources in the quarry located in the village of Coșnița.
Subjects in the field of social assistance and some related particularities were signaled by the representatives of the relevant department, the imperative nature of meeting the social needs of some categories of people, including children identified without parental protection, being mentioned.
The documentation visit served as a good opportunity to get familiar with the current issues regarding the educational process and the state of the premises of the educational institutions available in the locality.
The multisectoral contribution following the implementation of projects financed by the Program of activities for the reintegration of the country, with impact on the modernization and endowment of institutions, as well as the performance of public utility services, was noted.
Deputy Prime Minister Oleg Serebrian commanded the local public authorities for their selflessness and involvement in solving the current challenges, giving assurances that the stated problems will be brought to the attention of the competent national authorities, in order to identify potential ways to overcome and solve them.
