Dumitru Matcovschi Gymnasium from Vadul-Rascov village became more accessible for pupils

21.09.2021, Chisinau – The representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policy, Local Public Administration, Education Department of Soldanesti Rayon Council together with the administration of “Dumitru Matcovschi” Gymnasium from Vadul-Rascov inaugurated today the yard in the proximity of the educational institution.
The land use planning activities were carried out with the financial support provided through the 2021 country’s Reintegration Action Program (CRAP).
About 180 pupils from Vadul-Rascov, Cot, Climautii de Jos and Socola have access to a modern and paved yard, due to the allocation of 250 thousand MDL from CRSP and the contribution provided by the local administration
The representatives of the Bureau visited “Dumitru Matcovschi” House Museum, which also received funding via a project awarded in 2017.
The principle of the gymnasium, the mayor and the custodian of the museum - the niece of the great prose writer and poet, Dumitru Matcovschi, thanked Chisinau authorities for provided financial support, mentioning about development of new projects for 2022 CRAP.
The country’s Reintegration Action Program has an annual budget of 15 million MDL. It is intended for projects that are designed to be implemented in localities from the Security Zone and involve specific activities, such as: community and regional development, rehabilitation and renovation of local infrastructure, modernization of key social institutions, solving pressing development problems, providing essential public services, as well as actions that contribute to promoting confidence-building measures among the population on both banks of the Nistru and achieving the government's goal of reintegration of the country.
Since 2011 and until now, the Government has approved 14 Country Reintegration Action Programs (CRAP) and allocated 124.5 million MDL to finance 463 projects, including 7.12 million MDL allocated for the 8 Latin script educational institutions on the left bank of the Nistru.
