The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration, Olga Cebotari, had a meeting with the Head of the OSCE Mission to the Republic of Moldova, Claus Neukirch.

The officials continued discussing the Transnistrian settlement, specifically the current issues of the negotiation process and potential measures to be taken for making them sustainable.

The need to identify a viable solution to the problem of forcing students, domiciled in the Transnistrian region and studying in educational institutions on the right bank, to test for Covid-19 on their own expenses when passing through Transnistrian checkpoints in the Security Zone, was also addressed.

The interlocutors agreed on the need to revitalize the dialogue in all existing formats and to boost the sectoral working groups in 2021, with the participation of experts from both banks of Nistru.

They also agreed to maintain permanent communication and to coordinate relevant measures given the mandates assigned.
