13.09.2021, Chisinau – Deputy Prime Minister Vlad Kulminski and the staff of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies held a working meeting with the Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the Transnistrian Settlement Process, Thomas Mayr-Harting.
The meeting focused on the current status of the Chisinau – Tiraspol dialogue, the up-to-date issues on the negotiations agenda and the actions required to tackle those issues and to support observance of human rights on both banks of the Nistru River.
The Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration spoke about the Government’s short – and medium -term priorities for promoting coherent country reintegration policies and boosting the settlement process, stressing that the Government keeps a permanent focus on ensuring proper running of and adequate premises for the Latin script educational institutions, on addressing the issues of landowners in the Dubasari district, on continuing the immunization process and provision of quality medical services to citizens throughout the country.
The official reiterated again that the Moldovan side is open to participate in a new round of the "5 + 2" negotiations without any prior conditions, with a pre-agreed agenda and with a clear prospect for boosting the institutional-political dialogue in order to advance in the settlement process.
