The Working Groups meeting on education held for the 2nd time this year

The meeting the working groups on education was held for the second time during this year. On October 18, the representatives of the "5+2" negotiation format talked during a web-based meeting. The delegation from Chisinau was led by Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education and Research Adriana Cazacu-Tigaie, also coordinator of the working group.
During the discussion, Chisinau informed about the opportunities provided by the implementation of the National Program for learning the Romanian language by national minorities, including the adult population, for the years 2022-2025, mentioning that this serves as a good opportunity for the minorities on the left bank to study the Romanian language and thus benefit from more possibilities in various fields.
Like the practices of previous years, the experts from Chisinau informed about the availability of 100 free of charge holiday tickets for children from the eastern districts and Bender municipality. This aim to contribute to the involvement in joint activities and building confidence measures between young people from both banks of the Nistru river.
Difficulties faced by the 8 Latin-script educational institutions in the Transnistrian region were reviewed, and namely: the abusive summons issued by the force structures and addressed to the young people studying in these schools, the lack of own premises suitable for the needs of the educational process, other current issues.
It was agreed to carry out joint visits to the "Lucian Blaga" Theoretical Lyceum from Tiraspol to examine the outdoor sports field that needs to be adjusted for physical training lessons during the cold period of the year, as well as at to the "Evrica" Theoretical Lyceum from Rabnita, for current documentation of the state of the premises for which massive investments have been made by the Government and to determine the future actions.
