7th March, Chisinau - The focal point of discussion between Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, and the Vice-Rector of the College of Europe, Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka, was the enhancement and professional development of teams within national public institutions involved in the European integration process.

 

Throughout the discourse, avenues through which the Republic of Moldova could leverage support from the College of Europe, renowned for its excellence in postgraduate education in European affairs, were explored.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov articulated her aspiration to initiate training initiatives for Moldovan civil servants, particularly amidst accession negotiations. She remarked, "Such programmes hold the potential to expedite our European trajectory, as the competence and proficiency of colleagues within institutions are pivotal in advancing the country's Euro-integration agenda."

 

Furthermore, she extended gratitude to Vice-Rector Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka and the College of Europe team for their receptiveness, expressing optimism for a fruitful partnership.
