Structure

• To the Moldovan delegation to JCC are designated persons in charge from the central public administration authorities and local authorities. They are proposed by the heads of these authorities in coordination with the Deputy Prime Minister responsible for reintegration.


• The members of the Moldovan delegation to JCC are the link between the Special Representative of the Government empowered to coordinate the peacekeeping issues in the conflict settlement process and the head of the central public authority, whose representative is appointed to JCC.


• If necessary, other experts can be engaged for a fixed period of time for the settling specific problems in activity of the Moldovan delegation to JCC. Their applications are coordinated with the head of the delegation under the orders and dispositions of the public authorities or of the institutions they are representing.


• The Moldovan delegation to JCC includes: the co-chair of JCC, members of JCC (including the secretary of the Moldovan delegation to JCC), permanent experts and other experts from different fields co-opted into JCC.


• In order to elucidate the JCC's activity and help disseminate the information and materials about the situation in the Security Zone, representatives of mass media can be accredited. 


• Moldovan delegation to JCC consists usually of six representatives appointed by the Government, which have the status of members of the JCC, and are assigned the following positions:


   a) Special Representative of the Government empowered to coordinate aspects of peacekeeping in the conflict settlement process;


   b) The representative of central government authority responsible for defense in the Republic of Moldova;


   c) The representative of central government authority responsible for public order and fighting against crime in the Republic of Moldova;


   d) The representative of central government authority responsible for security in the Republic of Moldova;


   e) Representatives of other central or local public administration authorities.
