Strategic communication and accurate information arrangements of the residents of the country’s eastern regions were addressed during a meeting of the Reintegration Policies Bureau’s head with the representatives of the International Communication Service of the Cabinet Office of the Government of the United Kingdom

Head of the Reintegration Policies Bureau, Alin Gvidiani, met today with Ziad Ramley and Charlotte Baker, communicators at the International Communication Service of the Cabinet Office of the UK Government.

 

Topics of discussion focused the aspects of strategic communication and those related to the objective and accurate information of the general public, especially of the inhabitants of the left bank of the Nistru river  and Bender municipality, about the positive actions done by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova to solve their problems, the efforts undertaken during the negotiation process, the government policies promoted for country’s reintegration, the principled institutional approaches on this segment, etc.

 

The interest of the Bureau was evoked in having professional training courses in the field of strategic communication, as well as the need to implement several external assistance projects aimed to contribute to the unification of the information space of the both banks, to the multiplication of professional journalistic investigations on the Transnistrian issue and to the free access of the right-bank media representatives/sources to the Transnistrian region, as it is with regard to those in the eastern districts of the country.
