State Secretary for European Integration, Rodica Crudu, at the European Union Enlargement Conference in Tallinn: 'Regional security is crucial for the continuation of EU accession efforts'
19 February 2025, Tallinn - State Secretary for European Integration, Rodica Crudu, attended the European Union Enlargement Conference in Estonia. The event, which was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Estonia and the International Centre for Defence and Security, joined together high-level representatives from countries such as Albania, Estonia, Romania, Ukraine.
The conference provided a great platform for discussion on the EU enlargement process, future strategies, the EU's support for the candidate countries to move forward in their European path, but also to face regional security challenges.
Rodica Crudu has spoken about the priorities on our European agenda and the preparations for opening accession negotiations on at least one group of chapters during the Polish EU Council Presidency:'Regional security is crucial for the continuation of EU accession efforts, and the maintenance of this dynamic is a common responsibility. We need more than just our dedication but also the commitment of the European Union'.
