On an official visit to Montenegro, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, met today with Filip Ivanović - Deputy Prime Minister for Foreign and European Affairs, Maida Gorčević - Minister of European Affairs and Predrag Zenović - Montenegro's chief negotiator for EU accession.

The discussions assessed the stage Moldova and Montenegro are at in the process of negotiations and how the two countries can coordinate their steps and learn from each other.

Also in Podgorica, Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov and Deputy Prime Minister Ivanović signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Montenegro.

‘The Memorandum will allow us to exchange experience and support each other, so that we can confidently move forward on our way to the EU’, said Cristina Gherasimov.
