25 August 2025, Chișinău – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov met with Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs Beate Meinl-Reisinger, who was on an official visit to Chișinău.

The discussions focused on progress on Moldova's European agenda and preparations for the analysis of the final chapters of negotiations.

‘Austria is a model of development for us and a partner that sees Moldova's integration into the EU not only as an opportunity for our country, but also as an opportunity for investment and expansion of the EU's internal market’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

Deputy Prime Minister thanked the authorities in Vienna for standing by our country and supporting Moldova's path towards the EU.
