Prime Minister Chiril Gaburici had a joint meeting with Foreign Minister of Denmark Martin Lidegaard and Foreign Minister of Poland Grzegorz Schetyna. Moldova's European integration and reforms were the main issues of discussion.

Gaburici thanked the officials for the support provided to Moldova's European integration. "European integration is the only chance to modernise Moldova. We have proved that we are willing to enforce reforms which would bring qualitative change for Moldova's development and citizens' life," he said. Gaburici reaffirmed the country's need for the EU support to carry out reforms, especially, in justice and fighting corruption.

In another context, Gaburici referred to authorities' efforts to diversify the sales market for the goods made in Moldova. He said adjusting to the European standards represented a crucial step for meeting this goal.

The sides also approached the negotiations between the two banks of Dniester and confidence building measures.

For their part, the two officials reiterated support for Moldova's European integration. They said that both Copenhagen and Warsaw would back Moldova to enforce provisions of the Moldova-EU Association Agreement.

Lidegaard and Schetyna paid a visit to Moldova, following an invitation by Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and European Integration Minister Natalia Gherman.
