Moldovan PM: European Union helps us grow developed economy and competitive business environment at home
24 october 2024, Chișinău - Prime Minister Dorin Recean attended the closing conference of EU4Business: Connecting Companies (EU4BCC) project, aimed at deepening and strengthening trade relations between the European Union, its member states and the Eastern Partnership countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine.
The official referred to the 160 local businesses in our country that have developed with EU support, noting that the authorities will continue to build a strong business environment, harnessing the opportunities offered by the EU.
"Our entrepreneurs are harnessing the advantages of the European single market: access to finance, more than 450 million consumers, eliminating tariffs and regulations, and high quality standards. These benefits help us grow a developed economy at home, a competitive business environment and more well-paid jobs. Our priority is to continue firmly on the path of European integration, building a prosperous future together," said Recean.
In a hybrid format, the event brought together around one hundred participants and summarized the activities of the program. The project was launched in December 2019, co-funded by the EU and implemented by Eurochambres.
