Moldovan civil servants could be detached for training at the European Commission

18 October 2024, Brussels - Cristina Gherasimov, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration and Johannes Hahn, European Commissioner for Budget and Administration signed the agreement allowing the participation of local experts from public institutions in the NEPT - National Experts in Vocational Training and SNE - Detached National Experts Programmes.

 

‘The Republic of Moldova is the first of the negotiating countries benefiting from these programs. Detachments are organized twice a year for a period of three to five months. They provide civil servants with first-hand knowledge of the European Commission's working methods and policies, the opportunity to put their professional knowledge and experience into practice and to work on a daily basis in a vibrant and competitive environment’, said Cristina Gherasimov.

 

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration underlined that: ‚the NEPT and SNE programs will help us to build efficient institutions, with civil servants better prepared to contribute to the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova’.
