Meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration with the Ambassador of Romania at the end of his term in the Republic of Moldova

The Deputy Prime Minister received today the Ambassador of Romania Daniel Ioniță in a farewell visit, on the occasion of the end of his mandate in the Republic of Moldova.
The Deputy Prime Minister highly appreciated the Ambassador’s activity in a period of upward development of the bilateral dialogue at all level, of sectoral cooperation in many fields and of the realization of concrete collaboration projects between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. The latter were materialized in multiple assistance initiatives for the citizens on both banks of the Nistru River and in support of the European course of the Republic of Moldova.
The agenda of discussions also included recent evolutions in the dialogue between Chisinau and Tiraspol, the challenges faced by our country in the context of the security developments in the region, the effort of the authorities to manage these processes but also the large flow of refugees from Ukraine.
The officials addressed mutual gratitude for the good relations of collaboration maintained and deepened, the forms of multidimensional assistance developed, the contribution to the strengthening of bilateral partnerships.
