Between August 21 and 22, 2023, joint inspections took place in 5 educational institutions out of the 8 teaching in Romanian that have lease contracts for buildings in the Transnistrian region, with the participation of representatives of the Bureau for Reintegration Policies, the Ministry of Education and Research, the Agency for Technical Supervision and the National Agency for Public Health.
On August 21, inspections took place at the "Constantin Sucitu" Lyceum in the village of Corjova, the Roghi High School in Dubăsari district and at the "Evrika" Theoretical High School in Râbnița, and on August 22, at the Theoretical Lyceum "Lucian Blaga" from Tiraspol and at the Theoretical Lyceum "Alexandru cel Bun" from Bender.
In this context, during the visit to the Roghi Gymnasium, both the administration of the educational institution and the Bureau expressed concerns about the proper running of the educational process. For politicized reasons, Tiraspol has so far not expressed its openness to carrying out the repair works of some roads on the Cocieri plateau, one of which is right in front of the Roghi High School, thus the real risk of landslides on the territory of the educational institution persists.
During the visit to the "Lucian Blaga" Theoretical Lyceum in Tiraspol, the problem of the lack of a gym was noted, a fact that hampers the proper carrying out of the study process and needs to be solved, the involvement of the exponents from Tiraspol in identifying an optimal solution in the interest of the children being requested once again.
The lacking of their own premises for institutions teaching in Romanian in the Transnistrian region creates a less predictable educational environment and generates a series of difficulties for these educational institutions.
However, after the evaluations of the level of compliance with the sanitary-epidemiological requirements in force and the fire protection rules, the experts from both banks found that these gymnasiums and lyceums are ready for the resumption of the educational process in the academic year 2023 -2024.
The proper running of the educational process, the free movement of students, teaching staff, the administration of the educational institution, teaching materials and goods necessary for the educational process, the continuous development of a high-performance and high-quality educational process, are under permanent control by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
