Evolution of COVID-19 cases in Moldovan schools from the Transnistrian region is insignificant

The epidemiological situation in the 8 Romanian-teaching schools from the Transnistrian region was assessed in a joint meeting of the Bureau for Reintegration and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
Schools officials informed that the evolution of cases is insignificant and the impact on the educational process is under control. They also emphasized the importance of continuing the educational process on training the young generation.
Participants in the meeting gave assurances that the situation is kept under constant control and compliance with all anti-epidemiological rules is in place according to the established procedures.
After confirmation of the infection and hospitalization of the director of "Lucian Blaga" high-school from Tiraspol, Ion Iovcev, the institution will operate online for two weeks and all thr necessary measures will be taken to prevent the spread of the virus.
