10 September 2025, Strasbourg - The European Parliament adopted the resolution of support for the accession of the Republic of Moldova to the European Union. The document was approved by an absolute majority and states:

- Reaffirmation of full support for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova;

- condemnation of the repeated attempts of the Russian Federation to destabiliыe through hybrid attacks, illegal funding, disinformation and pressure on civil society and independent press;

- welcoming Moldova's commitment and progress on its European agenda;

- calling for additional political, financial and technical support from the EU to strengthen democracy, cyber security, support for independent media and civil society;

- encouraging the acceleration of Moldova's integration into the European Single Market and the implementation of the EUR 1.9 billion Growth Plan for economic development.

‘We thank the European Parliament for its support and solidarity! The doors of all European institutions are open to us. The future of our country is in the European Union. It is important to reconfirm the right direction on 28 September!’, said Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov.
