3rd May 2024, Chisinau - Yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, along with Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Deputy Prime Minister Dumitru Alaiba, participated in a working session with the team from the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalisation. This ministry oversees nine of the working groups engaged in the negotiation process, tasked with handling nine chapters of the acquis communautaire.

The deliberations centred on the Ministry's priorities within the framework of the National Action Plan for European Integration and the preparations for bilateral screening, alongside considerations for this year's forthcoming contribution to the enlargement package. Additionally, there was discourse on ensuring the implementation of planned measures for 2024.

"We underscored the significance of proactive engagement with businesses throughout the EU accession process. This approach will ensure that we assist the economic entities of the country in being as thoroughly prepared as possible for the European integration process" remarked Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov following the meeting.
