22 September 2025, Chișinău - Bureau for European Integration organised today public consultations on the Draft Negotiating Positions for the groups of chapters of Cluster III - Competitiveness and Inclusive Growth, Cluster IV - Green Agenda and Sustainable Connectivity and Cluster V - Natural Resources, Agriculture and Cohesion.

The three meetings were attended by representatives of civil society, business associations, academia and members of working groups involved in the European Integration process.

‘The negotiating positions are not just technical documents, but a step by which our country is getting closer to the European Union. The commitments undertaken will bring real benefits to the people - from quality public services and support for business to environmental protection and food safety’, said Deputy Secretary General of the Government Rodica Crudu in the consultation meetings.

The negotiating position is the key document in which the Republic of Moldova sets out in detail how and by when the authorities intend to adopt and implement the European norms and standards that all EU Member States are bound by. The pace of Moldova's EU accession negotiations will depend on the progress made on each chapter.
