DEVELOPMENTS ON THE EUROPEAN AGENDA OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA DISCUSSED BY DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER CRISTINA GHERASIMOV WITH DELEGATION FROM THE GERMAN BUNDESTAG'S COMMITTEE FOR EU AFFAIRS
20th June 2024, Chisinau – Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, engaged in discussions with a delegation from the German Bundestag's Committee for EU Affairs, led by its Chairman, Anton Hofreiter. The primary topics included the substantial progress achieved by the Republic of Moldova on its European agenda, the preparations for the inaugural Intergovernmental Conference, and the necessary steps to advance along the European path.
The discussions underscored Germany's unwavering support for Moldova's European ambitions. In this context, Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov expressed her gratitude to the authorities in Berlin for their advocacy of Moldova's EU membership aspirations and appreciated the close cooperation between the two countries.
