The Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian discussed on the developments in implementing the GIZ project ”Promoting technical vocational education for a green economy”

During a working meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister for reintegration Oleg Serebrian with the representatives of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation Caroline Tissot and Martin Roch, and with the experts of the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) in the Republic of Moldova, Oana Vodiță and Martin Messner, developments in the process of implementing the GIZ project ”Promoting technical vocational education for a Green Economy” in the Eastern districts of the country were discussed.
The objective of the projects is developing a consolidated technical vocational dual education system, oriented towards the demand for promoting environmental, economic and social development in the Republic of Moldova.
In this context, the Deputy Prime Minister greeted the running of this project and voiced the need of its continuation, stating the major importance of the project for the population in the region and the significant contribution in providing qualified personnel on the labor market on both banks of the Nistru River.
This occasion has also provided an opportunity for discussing the current situation in the the Transnistrian settlement process, as well as expressing availability in developing a good cooperation with the development partners and the Government of the Republic of Moldova.
