16^th April 2024, Chisinau - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, engaged in discussions with Raffaele Fitto, Minister of European Affairs, Cohesion Policies, and the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Italian Republic.

The officials deliberated on the progress in implementing the European agenda, the screening process, and the measures undertaken by state institutions to adequately prepare for accession negotiations.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov also expressed gratitude for the assistance rendered by the Italian authorities in advancing the country's European agenda and for the steadfast support of Moldova's European path, which the Republic of Moldova has benefited from in recent years.
