17th April 2024, Chisinau - During the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, and Oliver Röpke, President of the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), Moldova's European trajectory and the engagement of civil society in this journey were key topics of discussion.

 

Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov underscored the significance of a collective endeavour encompassing all segments of society to uphold the rapid pace of reforms and Moldova's European agenda.

 

In this context, the official emphasized the invaluable contributions of Moldova's non-governmental organizations to the completion of the EU accession questionnaire. Additionally, she acknowledged the active participation of civil society and private sector representatives in the activities of sectoral working groups.

 

"We are all actively contributing to the process of preparing for EU accession", affirmed Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov.
