Deputy Prime Minister Cristina Gherasimov met with the Romanian Ambassador, Cristian-Leon Țurcanu

4th April 2024, Chisinau - In Chisinau, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov, the Government's Secretary of State for European Affairs, Rodica Crudu, and the Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Cristian-Leon Țurcanu, deliberated on the Government's achievements in implementing reforms and areas where Romania could assist in accelerating our country's European trajectory.

 

Furthermore, the parties addressed the requirements of the Bureau for European Integration to ensure the effective coordination of the EU accession process.

 

"We maintain our reliance on Romania's political and economic backing, as well as the wealth of experience in European integration that central and local authorities on both sides of the Prut River can share with their Moldovan counterparts. Romania has consistently been a steadfast ally, and we aim to reinforce this enduring relationship to jointly navigate our path towards the broader European family", stated Cristina Gherasimov.

 

Cristian-Leon Țurcanu affirmed that Romania will persist in supporting our country through tangible actions and initiatives.
