5^th March, Chisinau - Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Cristina Gherasimov engaged in a telephone conversation with Igli Hasani, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, focusing on the European trajectory of both nations.

During the discussion, the officials mutually agreed to explore avenues for bolstering cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and Albania. This includes the exchange of experiences and best practices concerning the accession negotiation process, as well as extending support to each other during this pivotal phase of the European journey.

Deputy Prime Minister Gherasimov expressed keen interest in leveraging Albania's expertise, particularly considering Albania's commencement of accession negotiations in July 2022. Minister Hasani affirmed his country's commitment to sharing insights gained during this period with relevant institutions in the Republic of Moldova.
